Debbrina "Bre" Dawn Johnson

Debbrina Dawn “Bre” Johnson, 37, Horton, Kansas, died Friday, August 7, 2026.

A visitation with the family will be Saturday, August 15th, 2026, at 10:30 A.M. at the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home at 208 N Fifth St. Atchison, KS 66002.

Debbrina was born, September 25, 1988, in Murray, Utah, to Debra Kay Rodgers and Thomas Anthony Rodgers Sr.

Debbrina had a great and fulfilling life, birthing five great children that she loved dearly, which provided her with three absolutely amazing grandchildren in time. In her earlier adult years, Debbrina obtained her private pilot’s license, with the intent to achieve her commercial pilots’ license. She served in the US Army with the CBRN mos, eventually reaching the rank of Sergeant and having the opportunity to serve a tour in South Korea. She then attended and graduated from the Kansas State Law Enforcement Academy while being sponsored by the Marysville Kansas Police Department. So many more accolades, but this list would turn into a novel. She finally moved to the city of Horton, KS and began to remodel a home, one with a view that she came to adore.

She is survived by her children Mariah Lund (22), Alexas Harrington (21), Nathan Romrell (18), Braxton Smith (14) and Riley Johnson (9), as well as her grandchildren Oliver Peters (2), Owen Lund (1) and Addie Harrington (1).

She is remembered and will be missed by not only her family, but the many people she befriended, both through her career with the military and as a police officer, as well as those within the communities she lived in and enjoyed. Her memory will live on through her children, her friends and through the impact she made on all those around her.
