Corky Elias, 68, Atchison, Kansas died Monday, May 7, 2012 at his residence.
Funeral services will be Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be Saturday from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society and may be left in care of the funeral home.
Corky was born June 19, 1943 in Atchison, Kansas the son of Leo George and Mattie Louise Surritt Elias. He attended Atchison Public Elementary Schools, graduating from Atchison High School.
Corky loved motorcycles, his Dodge Challenger, hunting, fishing, sitting on his porch with an ice cold beer, kisses from Tammy, laughing, telling stories and spending time with his family and friends.
Corky is survived by his wife, Tammy Elias, Atchison, KS, his mother, Louise Elias, Atchison, KS, daughter, Nicole Elias, Atchison, KS, son, Brandon Elias, Lancaster, KS, brother, Tony Elias, Hartsville, SC and eight grandchildren.
