She is survived by her husband, James L. "Jim" Growney, Kansas City, MO, two step-daughters, Emily A. Growney, St. Louis, MO, Melissa Growney, Columbia, MO, a step-son, Kevin E. Growney, Ft. Riley, KS, and au pair family, Scott & Leslie Turner, Pheonix, AZ, their sons Colin, Derek and Adam Turner, and her parents Martin and Ulrike Strangfeld, Salzgitter, Germany.
