Cheryl E. Kelley, 64, Atchison, Kansas, died Friday, May 9, 2014, at Atchison Senior Village.

Funeral services will be Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Shiloh Baptist Church, Atchison, Kansas with Pastor Michael Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery, Oskaloosa, Kansas. Viewing and visitation with the family will be Saturday, May 17th at Shiloh Baptist Church from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Memorial contributions are suggested to Shiloh Baptist Church. The Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home has been entrusted with the final arrangements.

Cheryl Elaine Todd was born April 25, 1950 at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital to Marvin and Roxi Lee (Nichols) Todd of Oskaloosa, Kansas. Cheryl attended Oskaloosa Public schools. She was married and later divorced from James R. Tolson.

Cheryl later married Marion "Bud" Kelley in Atchison, Kansas on November 20, 1983. Cheryl attended Kansas University to become a licensed nurse aid and med aid, she worked in various locations, including Atchison before retiring due to health reasons.

Cheryl enjoyed spending time with her family, going to church when her health would permit, wrestling, gardening, music and cooking. Her giving spirit enabled her to care for many children throughout the neighborhood, she was referred to as Momma by many.

Cheryl is survived by her husband Marion "Bud" Kelley of the home, three sons, Brock (Tony) Tolson, Sean Tolson and Mario (Missy) Kelley, all of Atchison, three step-daughters, Rela Williams, Savannah GA, Roxanne (Henry) McMillian, Topeka, KS and Rosiland Stillman, Atchison, KS, three step-sons, Michael (Gladys) Kelley, Atchison, KS, Marion Kelley, Savannah, GA, Marcus Kelley, Atchison, KS, 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Marvin Todd, Jr., Norman Todd, Robert Todd and two sisters, Evelyn Todd Buchanan and Leola Todd Boldridge.
