Cherie D. Green, 58, Atchison, Kansas died Saturday, August 29, 2015 in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Funeral services will be Saturday, September 5, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Ogle officiating. The body will be cremated following these services. Visitation with the family will be Friday, September 4th from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Cherie was born June 3, 1957 in West Helena, Arkansas the daughter of Boss and Minnie Howard Jones. She attended schools in Arkansas. She later attended college where she received her certificate as a licensed practical nurse. Cherie then served as a LPN in both Winchester and Atchison, Kansas.
Survivors include two sons, Percy Duncan, Elwood, KS, Sercy Duncan, Atchison, KS, three daughters, Martha Green, St. Joseph, MO, Malinda Babineaux, Atchison, KS, Alicia Green, Jonesboro, Arkansas, four brothers, Otis Jones, St. Louis, MO, Walter Jones, Atchison, KS, Victor Jones, Hot Springs, Arkansas, Johnny Jones, Atchison, KS, three sisters, Georgia Jones, Atchison, KS, Carolyn Jones, Jonesboro, Arkansas, Victoria Jones, Atchison, KS and fifteen grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Todrick Duncan and a daughter, Andrea Lanae Miller.
