Carolyn L. Walker, 74, Atchison, Kansas, died Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Village Villa in Nortonville, Kansas.
No services are scheduled at this time. Burial of cremains will be at a later date at Sunset Memory Gardens in Atchison.
Carolyn was born May 15, 1943, in Horton, Kansas, the daughter of Merle and Fern Whited Coon. She attended schools in Horton, graduating from Horton High School.
She and Roy Earl Walker were united in marriage on January 23, 1961, in Leavenworth, Kansas. Mr. Walker preceded her in death on March 31, 2010.
Carolyn enjoyed reading, gardening and had a passion for cooking.
Survivors include four sons, Joey (Becky) Walker, Atchison, KS, Toby Walker, Atchison, KS, Robby Walker, Atchison, KS, Corey Walker, St. Joseph, MO, two daughters, Tammy (Jeff) Ferris, Atchison, KS, Tina (Theodore) Purdy, Hoyt, KS, ten grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Timmy Earl Walker and a grandson, Brandon Walker.
