Brian Leroy Seymore-Smith 56 years of age of Aurora Colorado and formerly of Atchison Kansas departed his life on August 12 th , 2020 at Aurora Medical Hospital in Aurora Colorado.

Graveside services will be Saturday, October 3, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at Oak Hill Cemetery in Atchison, Kansas. Lunch will follow the services at Jackson Park, Mask are required and we will practice social distancing.

Brian was born July 23, 1964 in the city of Atchison Kansas to the union of the late Isaac Smith and Alganette Seymore – Smith. Brian attended the Atchison Public Schools and Central High School in Kansas City, Missouri. He then continued his education at Job Corps in Ogden Utah where he graduated with a Licensed Practical Nursing Degree. Then later he attended Donnelly College in Kansas City, Kansas where he graduated as a Registered Nurse. Brian was also co-owner with his wife Nakia D Wade of Sisters Dun Rite Home Cleaning LLC.

Brian was united in Marriage to Nakia D Wade on March 28 th , 2008. Brian is the Father of a daughter Rahnishia Day and a Grandpa to Larkin Day of Manhattan, Kansas. Brian also has step sons Maurice Wade, LeAnthony Wade, Joshua Wade, and a step daughter Makeysha Wade with a grandbaby on the way, All of Aurora, Colorado. Brian was a member of Atchison Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Brian enjoyed in his spare time Fishing with his family, Traveling, Dancing and being the life of the party. He also enjoyed reading, and watching movies with his wife. Brian also enjoyed being with his first cousins and cookouts. Brian also believed he was the "best cook." Which he would tell Family he "created cooking." Brian also enjoyed spending time catching up with his classmates.

Survivors include his Wife, Daughter, Step Sons, and Step Daughter along with two Grandchildren.

Brian was preceded in death by his parents Isaac Smith, Alganette Seymore- Smith, two brothers Lawrence and Larry Smith, and one sister Joanna Thompson, Maternal and Paternal Grandparents. Also a Special Aunt Clara Seymore.

Brian leaves to mourn four nephews Brandon Smith Sr, Shawn Maag, Jeffery Jackson, JaVelle Jackson, and three nieces Ariana Thompson, Shawneekia Mays and Shawneece Mays, one great nephew Brandon Smith jr, and identical twin great nieces Blakeley and Brynnlee Taylor. Special cousins Dorothy and Maneeta Wilson, Charlene, Charles, Jimmy, Tony, Marty, Paul Cushinberry all of Denver, Colorado and a host of relatives and friends.
