Braxton Christopher Escobar

Braxton Christopher Escobar, 5, died January 1, 2020 in at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph, Missouri.

Funeral services will be Thursday, January 9, 2020, at 1:30 P.M. in the chapel of the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, January 9 ^th from noon until 1:30 P.M. at the funeral home.

Braxton was born February 27, 2014 in Kansas City, Missouri the son of Christopher and Leah Waln Escobar. He attended kindergarten at Lindbergh Elementary School in St. Joseph.

Braxton enjoyed participating in cub scouts with his best friend, Alexander, playing with his barbies and Frozen. He was a huge Descendants fan and loved going on adventures with his uncle, Bam.

Survivors include his parents, Christopher and Leah Escobar, St. Joseph, MO; two brothers, Clayton Escobar, Linn, MO; Bralio Escobar, St. Joseph, MO; two sisters, Chloe Escobar, Linn, MO; Bailee Coy, St. Joseph, MO; maternal grandmother, Wendy Erwin, St. Joseph, MO; maternal grandfather, Rob Schooler, St.Joseph, MO; paternal grandparents, Sherri VanVacter, St. Joseph, MO; and Mario Escobar, Gautemala; paternal great grandparents, Don and Wanda VanVacter, St. Joseph, MO; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Bentley Walker-Lee Malm; maternal grandfather, Michael Waln and maternal great grandparents.
