Betty A. Hinson, 66, of Atchison, Kansas died unexpectedly Sunday, February 11, 2018 at her home.
Per her wishes, Betty will be cremated. Interment will be at a later date in Round Prairie Cemetery next to her husband.
Betty was born August 3, 1951 in Atchison, Kansas the daughter of Carl and Roberta (Foster) Morris. She attended Franklin Elementary and Atchison High School.
She and Kenneth Hinson were united in marriage on October 13, 1987 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Kenneth preceded her in death on May 6, 2010.
Betty was employed at Mount St. Scholastica in the kitchen as a baker for twelve years until her retirement in 2012. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening and growing flowers. Some of her most enjoyable time was spent with family and fishing.
Survivors include a son, Wesley Wynkoop, a daughter, Catrina Blakemore, two brothers, Steve Morris, Tracy, CA, Mike Morris, Vail, AZ, a sister, Donna White, and numerous cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a son, William Wynkoop.
