Becky Sue Gerber

Becky Sue Gerber, of Atchison, KS, died August 12, 2025, at the age of 44. She was born on September 13, 1980, in Atchison, KS, the daughter of Clyde William Gerber, Jr., and Debra (McKibben) Gerber. She graduated from Atchison High School and earned her AAS in accounting from Highland Community College.

Becky formerly was employed at Casey's in Atchison. She enjoyed coloring, listening to music, tailoring and embroidering, and collecting items like snow globes, horseshoes and four-leaf clovers.

She will always be remembered by her surviving family, her children, Clyde D. Gerber, Michael Gerber, Alex Schwarz and Christopher Schwarz; her mother, Debbie Gerber; her siblings, Mary Gail (Jeff) Harlan and Chris (Jessica) Gerber; and her grandson, Kamari.

She is preceded in death by her father, Clyde Wm. Gerber, Jr.; her husband, Anthony "Tony" Schwarz; brother, Clyde Wm. "Billy" Gerber; and sister, Trina Rosala Gerber-Smith.

Cremation care by the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home. A celebration of her life will be announced and held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to the funeral home to assist the family.
