Alberta Helen Blair, 96, Rushville, Missouri, died Sunday, November 11, 2012 at the Arbor View Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center.
Private family services will be held. Memorial contributions are suggested to a fund for the care of her son David and may be left in care of the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home.
Alberta was born June 28, 1916 in Atchison, Kansas the daughter of John Molini and Mary Stutz. She attended Atchison Public Schools, graduating from Atchison High School.
She and Bert William Blair were united in marriage on October 12, 1940, in Smithville, Missouri. Mr. Blair preceded her in death on October 16, 1972.
Alberta was employed with the Horton Garment Company as a Presser.
She truly loved her children and spending time with them. Her greatest gift was the special care she offered to her son David. She enjoyed her cats and tending the flowers in her garden, and formerly authored a begonia newsletter. Alberta was a Jehovah Witness.
She is survived by a daughter, Sharon Eckert, Nortonville, KS, two sons, David Bert Blair, Rushville, MO, Kenneth Dean Blair, Crescent, IA, eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.
