Edna P. Voelker, 93, Leonard, Texas died Tuesday, July 3, 2012 in Bonham, Texas.

Graveside and burial services will be Sunday, July 8, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Lancaster Cemetery, Lancaster, Kansas.

Edna was born March 24, 1919 in Nortonville, Kansas the daughter of Henry and Minnie Mae Bagby Bonnell. She attended school in Nortonville, graduating from high school there.

She and Raymond G. Voelker were united in marriage in December of 1937 in Atchison, Kansas. Mr. Voelker preceded her in death on August 24, 1980.

Edna was a member of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include a daughter, Jeanette Voelker Holuk, Montesano, WA, two sons, Gary Voelker, Garland, TX, Terry Voelker, Leonard, TX, two grandchildren, Valerie Rae (Drew) Deviller, Sacramento, CA, Pamela C. (Forrest Whiteside) James, Plano, TX and a great granddaughter, Serena Hall, Dallas, TX.

Edna was preceded in death by a son, Larry L. Voelker and two brothers, Ralph O. Bonnell and Leroy Bonnell.
