Ferrell Martin, 83, Rushville, Missouri died Monday, June 18, 2012 at his home in Rushville.

As per the wishes of Mr. Martin, there are no services planned. Burial will be in Calhan, Colorado. The Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home, Atchison, Kansas has been entrusted with the final arrangements.

Survivors include two daughters, Sarah Rasic, Colorado Springs, CO, Tracie Perez, Pueblo, CO, two brothers, Robert Martin, Atchison, KS, Jim Martin, Council Grove, KS, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren and a special companion of many years, Madeline Johns, Rushville, MO.

Ferrell was preceded in death by his wife, Venita Keene Martin and a son, John D. Martin and his parents, Eugene H. and Esther Massey Martin.
